In the upcoming movie, I Am Ruth, Kate Winslet and her actress daughter Mia Threapleton play mother and daughter roles.
A trailer for the upcoming movie written by Winslet, 47, and Dominic Savage, 48, was just made available by the U.K.’s Channel 4.
According to the network’s official synopsis, the two “have jointly imagined a story for our times about the endemic mental health epidemic afflicting young people.”
In the movie I Am Ruth, Winslet portrays Ruth, a mother who tries her hardest to support her daughter Freya (Threapleton) in managing her mental health.
