Justine Musk is no longer married to business magnate and investor Elon Musk. Justine Musk married future billionaire Elon Musk in January 2000 after knowing each other for almost a decade.

Justine met her future husband Elon at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, where they were both students.
The couple welcomed their first kid in 2002, the same year Elon’s company, PayPal, was acquired by eBay. Sadly, the baby died of sudden infant death syndrome at the age of ten weeks (SIDS). Before divorcing in 2008, Justine and Elon welcomed five more children together.

Justine is a published author. Justine’s debut novel, BloodAngel, was published by Penguin Books in 2005, and her second, Uninvited, was published in 2007. Lord of Bones, the sequel to BloodAngel, was released in 2008.
She has also written several short stories. In 2016, she had a story called “Smalltown Canadian girl” published in The House that Made Me: Writers Reflect on the Places and People Who Defined Them.
After the divorce, Justine earned $2 million in cash, $80,000 in monthly alimony, and child support for the following 17 years.
