Jun Lopito is best known for working with most of the Philippines’ Rock bands and music icons such as Pinoy rock legend Pepe Smith to ethnic singer Grace Nono.
Born Wilfrando Lavalan Jr., Jun Lopito is the son of Wilfrando Lopito, Sr. a Filipino TV host in the 1950s .
At the age of 8, Jun Lopito was caught into music after seeing the Beatles concert in 1966.
In 1979, the alternative rock and blues band The Jerks was formed and he joined later in the year.

Jun Lopito played with rock icons The Jerks, Pepe smith, Gary Perez and Edmond Fortuno of The Airwaves, Sampaguita, Pinikpikan, Cocojam, Spy, and Grace Nono, among others.

Jun Lopito died in the early hours of March 29. An official cause of death is unavailable at this time.
Jun Lopito was 64.
There is no information regarding Jun Lopito’s wife or children.
