Julie Cassidy: Is Bruce Cassidy married?

Bruce Cassidy is an excellent Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach.

Bruce James Cassidy was born on May 20, 1965, in Ottawa, Canada. He was a defenceman who played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He played with the Ottawa 67’s from 1982 to 1985.

Bruce Cassidy was selected by the Chicago Black Hawks of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, selected in the first round, 18th overall. He made his NHL debut with the Black Hawks in March 1984 when he was 19 years old.

Bruce Cassidy went into retirement as a player with the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL. He then became head coach of the Jacksonville Lizard Kings of the ECHL in 1996 to 97. He has  also coached the teams; Boston Bruins (as head coach from 2017–2022) and Boston Bruins (as their Assistant Coach in 2016–2017).

Aside from the Boston Bruins, Bruce Cassidy is also the former head coach of Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.
