Julianne Hough, a former Dancing With the Stars judge, married NHL player Brooks Laich in 2017. In May 2020, the couple announced their divorce. “We have lovingly and deliberately taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,” they said in a joint statement to People.

Julianne announced during her cover story for Women’s Health Magazine’s “Naked” issue in August 2019 that she recognised she wasn’t straight after some soul-searching.
Julianne was diagnosed with endometriosis, which makes having children much more difficult for individuals who have it. Julianne said that she and Brooks were undergoing in vitro conception, which prompted her to do additional soul-searching. She gradually came to terms with her sexuality and confided in Brooks.
Despite his encouragement, their relationship did not last. However, it is unclear whether this discovery had anything to do with their divorce.
