Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid and England midfielder, has been named La Liga’s Player of the Season in his debut year in Spain.

The 20-year-old, hailing from Stourbridge, scored an impressive 19 goals in the league, contributing significantly to Real Madrid’s title victory with a ten-point lead.
Bellingham’s exceptional performance extended beyond domestic competition. He netted four goals in the Champions League, aiding Carlo Ancelotti’s team in reaching the final against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
In a close contest, Bellingham surpassed competitors including his teammate Vinicius Jr, Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid, Artem Dovbyk from Girona, and Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona

Prior to his move to Real Madrid for a reported initial fee of 103 million euros (£88.5 million), Bellingham was named Bundesliga Player of the Season for the 2022-23 season while playing for Borussia Dortmund.
Unable to attend the ceremony due to preparations for the upcoming final, Bellingham expressed gratitude in a message, dedicating the award to his teammates, coaching staff, and the fans of Real Madrid.
With 29 caps for England and three international goals, Bellingham is anticipated to play a crucial role for Gareth Southgate’s squad at Euro 2024 in Germany, commencing on 14 June. England’s opening match is against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen on 16 June.
