Hungarian footballer József Tóth, passed away on August 11, 2022. He was aged 70.

Toth is survived by family and friends, although his cause of death is yet to be revealed.
The Hungarian Football Federation expressed deep sadness at the news of his death.

Jozsef Toth Career
Born on December 2, 1951, Toth played as a left back for the Hungary National Team in the 1970s and 1980s.

He made 56 appearances and scored a goal for the Hungary national team. He also made appearances at the FIFA World Cup in 1978, and 1982.
Toth grew up in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary, where he played his club football for Pécsi MSC, Újpesti Dózsa, MTK-VM and IF Kraft, between 1969 and 1975.
He was with the National team from 1974 to 1983. He later became a coach and trained Dorogi FC between 1997 and 1998.
