The Northumberland Football Association is the governing body that supervises various leagues and programs in the historic county of Northumberland.

After Joshua won the Pro Motiv8 event earlier this year, his mother, Marie-Claire Rupio, posted a photo of her son with the trophy.

The shot was captioned “will make his dad proud,” and several of Marie-followers Claire’s wished Joshua a prosperous football career.

Christian Atsu, Joshua Tsawam’s father, was certified deceased on Saturday, February 18, 2023, when his lifeless body was pulled from the rubble in Turkey following the earthquake.

This came after days of intense searching in the aftermath of the terrible earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in mid-February.
