Who Is Joshua Buatsi?
Joshua Buatsi is a professional boxer known for holding the “British light-heavyweight title in 2019, and the WBA International light-heavyweight title between 2018 and 2021.”
Born on March 14, 1993, in Accra, Ghana, Buatsi, earned a degree in Management with Sports Science from St Mary’s University.

During his days as an amateur, Buatsi won an Olympic bronze medal in the light-heavyweight division. He also took part in bouts at the South Norwood and Victory club, Charnwood Road, Crystal Palace, London, England.
Buatsi turned professional in 2017, when he faced Carlos Mena at The O2 Arena, and won the fight by knockout.
In 2021, Buatsi further recorded more victories when he faced Frenchman Daniel Dos Santos at the AO Arena in Manchester, and Ričards Bolotņiks, during the Matchroom Boxing’s Fight Camp series.
Buatsi’s manager is Anthony Joshua, who has won the world heavyweight championship on two occasions.
