Josh Anderson Parents: Meet Gary and Michelle Anderson.

Josh Anderson is a professional ice hockey player. He was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada to Gary and Michelle Anderson.

His parents, Gary and Michelle, own and operate a restaurant in Waterdown, Ontario. His father Gary grew up in Montreal watching the dominant Habs teams of the 1960s and ’70s, and his mother Michelle’s uncle is Canadiens legend Peter Mahovlich.

Josh Anderson currently plays as a right winger for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He began his NHL career in 2014 when he was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fourth round of the NHL Entry Draft.

He played with the Blue Jackets for several seasons, showcasing his skill, physicality, and scoring ability. Anderson earned the nickname “the Powerhouse” as a power forward known for his speed and physicality.

Anderson represents Canada on the international stage, where he won a silver medal at the 2022 IIHF World Championship.
