Jonathan was suspended 70 feet in the air, sandwiched between two cars and clad in a straightjacket, when the vehicles caught fire during the stunt. He hit his head on the ground after missing the air mattress that was supposed to break his fall.
Jonathan later admitted that he had “averted the worst” but that he still had a “long road to recovery” ahead of him. “To death, I say mama boo-boo,” he wrote on Instagram.
I’ve been to the brink of disaster and avoided the worst that a human being can… because I was shielded by love.
