Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen, a Danish cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo–Visma has ammassed quite a fortune in cycling. He won his maiden Grand Tour victory at the Tour de France in July 2022.

Vingegaard who has a net worth of $2 million, began his career with the Danish continental team ColoQuick in May 2016.
At the age of 19, he finished second in the UCI 2.1 level race Tour of China I.
He joined Team Jumbo–Visma in 2019, and that year achieved his first UCI WorldTour win in stage 6 of the Tour de Pologne. He also completed the 2020 Vuelta a España as a domestique for the race winner, Primož Roglič.

In 2021, he won stage 5 of his first race, the UAE Tour, before winning two stages and the overall in the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali and coming second overall, behind his teammate Roglič, in the Tour of the Basque Country.
He twice finished second on summit finishes in the 2021 Tour de France behind eventual winner Tadej Pogačar, and came third on both of the time trials on his way to second place overall, becoming the second Danish rider to achieve a podium finish in the Tour de France and the first since 1996.
