John Travolta Son Jett Cause Of Death

Jett Travolta, the oldest son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, died in 2009 when he was 16 years old. Jett, who was born in 1992, had suffered seizures since he was two years old.

He was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease at the age of 15 months and was on the autism spectrum. Jett was the oldest of three children, with a sister named Ella Bleu and a younger brother named Benjamin, who was born after his older brother died.

Jett died in the Bahamas in January 2009 while on vacation with his parents and younger sister. After hitting his head on a bathtub, he had a seizure.

Travolta and Kelly had spent the New Year at the opulent Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island with their children. A maid is claimed to have discovered Jett unconscious and raised the alarm.

The Grease star shared a touching photo to commemorate what would have been his son’s 28th birthday in April 2020, eleven years after his death.

They founded the Jett Travolta Foundation in 2009, which provides assistance and support to children with special needs.
