Ross was a member of Snoop Dogg’s All-Star league as a child. ESPN ranked Ross as a four-star recruit and ranked him as the state’s No. 49 overall talent. He committed to play college football at the University of Washington.
The Cincinnati Bengals selected him ninth overall in the 2017 NFL draft. Ross also spent time with the New York Giants. He is most known for running the NFL Combine’s quickest recorded 40-yard sprint.

Ranked as a four star recruit, his NFL career was marred by injuries, which limited his playing time and impact on the field. In March 2021, Ross signed with the New York Giants, seeking a fresh start in his NFL journey.
However, Ross was placed on injured reserve in October 2021 due to a hamstring injury, further hindering his chances to make an impact during the season.
On January 9, 2023, Ross signed a reserve/future contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. He announced his retirement to the Chiefs on July 26, 2023. They later placed him on reserve/retired list.
