Award-winning actor John Leguizamo has refused to watch “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” because of “the lack of Latin actors in the voice cast.”

Who Is John Leguizamo?

John Leguizamo is an actor, comedian, and movie producer, who has produced more than 20 films and documentaries.

Born on July 22, 1960, in Bogota, Colombia, John has acted in over 100 films, and 30 TV shows.

He has also scripted and performed in several Broadway productions.

The Tony Award winner began his journey in the entertainment industry doing stand-up comedy as far back as the 1980s.

John made his first TV appearance in 1986 in the film Miami Vice, and later went on to appear in Die Hard 2 (1990), the Homeboys (1991), Regarding Henry (1991), Super Mario Bros (1993), and Night Owl (1993).

So far, John has starred in many other films including “Moulin Rouge! (2001), The Alibi (2006), Righteous Kill (2008), Repo Men (2010), The Counselor (2013), John Wick (2014), and The Menu (2022).

Others include Waco (2018), When They See Us (2019), ER, The Kill Point, Bloodline, and The Mandalorian.

John has won several awards and nominations including the Golden Globe Award, Primetime Emmy Award and Tony Award.
