John Heard Jr. was an actor famous for starring as Kevin McCallister’s father, Peter, in the Christmas comedy film “Home Alone”, and as Vin Makazian in the crime drama “The Sopranos”.

Heard made his cinematic debut in 1977, when he was appeared in “Between the Lines”.

Heard’s filmography boasts an array of successful films, from the heartfelt drama of “Heart Beat” (1980) to the suspenseful intrigue of “The Pelican Brief” (1993), Heard seamlessly navigated through different genres.
