Who Was John Candy?
John Candy was a Canadian actor and comedian who became prominent in the 1970s through the comedy films Stripes (1981), Splash (1984), Summer Rental (1985), and Spaceballs (1987).
Candy went ahead to appear in other films such as The Great Outdoors (1988), Uncle Buck (1989), Cool Runnings (1993), Only the Lonely (1991) and JFK (1991).

His last films were Wagons East and Canadian Bacon.
