John Burnett Cause of Death

English professional rugby league footballer, John Burnett has died. He died on December 29, 2022, at the age of 87.

The cause of his death is unknown.

John Burnett played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played at the representative level of Yorkshire and the club level for Halifax as a centre.

John Burnett played, and was captain, in Halifax’s 15-7 victory over St. Helens in the Championship Final during the 1964-65 season at Station Road, Swinton on Saturday, May 22, 1965.
