The exact net worth of John Louis Bland, a South African professional golfer who won over thirty professional events around the world before passing dying on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the age of 77, due to cancer, remains unknown. Bland, who was born on September 22, 1945, was a well-known player in his native South Africa long before moving to the United States.

He turned pro at the age of 24, but it took him eight years to win for the first time on South Africa’s Sunshine Tour.

Bland won 18 more titles on his home circuit after his first success, at the South African PGA Championship.

When he joined the DP World Tour (then known as the European Tour), he won twice, and on both occasions, he defeated future World Golf Hall of Famers.

At the 1983 Benson & Hedges International in England, he finished first by a stroke over Bernhard Langer. Bland won his second European title three seasons later, in the 1968 Suze Open in Cannes, France.
