American actor, John Beasley has died following complications from a liver surgery. He died on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at age 79.

“I lost my best friend today. They say you shouldn’t ever meet your heroes because they don’t turn out to be who you thought they were. This is so wrong. My hero was my father. Thank you for everything,” his son, actor Michael Beasley announced his death via social media.
