John Adams Children: Did John Adams Have Kids?

John Adams was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Guardians, a Major League Baseball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. There is no public information that shows whether John Adams had any children or not.

John Adams passed away at 71. His death was announced on January 30, 2023, by the Guardians.

Adams played his bass drum in the bleacher seats during nearly every Indians (now called the Guardians) home game from late August 1973 through 2019, which brought him positive recognition from the Guardians and other organizations.

The Guardians paid for two season tickets for Adams and his drum, he was involved in two ceremonial first pitches, and he was the only fan to whom the Indians have dedicated a bobblehead day.

John Adams began his career with the team on August 24, 1973, when Cleveland hosted the Texas Rangers. He was a regular-season fixture, appearing at three All-Star Games, three World Series, and the night Len Barker pitched a perfect game for Cleveland in 1981.

Adams’ health had been deteriorating in recent seasons. Although he is no longer able to attend games, the team honoured his last season with a replica bronze sculpture of his drum, which now has a permanent home in the team’s Heritage Park area at Progressive Field.
