Nigerian Afrobeats artiste, Joeboy has sent a request to his cherished fans in regards to how they are responding to his new song, Alcohol.

The singer wrote in a Twitter post that even though he appreciates the love they are expressing for his new single, they should restrain from pouring things on their bodies.
“I appreciate the love ALCOHOL is getting but stop pouring stuff on your bodies,” he wrote in the Twitter post.
There has been a trend on TikTok where people react to the song differently. In a form of adding emotions to the song, they pour the stuff on their body to describe how exactly they feel. Some go to the extent of pouring palm oil, wine, gin, yoghurt, and more on themselves.
This has faced heavy criticisms on social media where most of the videos have been frowned upon by many people. The song is currently on the No. 1 spot on Nigeria’s Apple Music Chart and other platforms.
