The Member of Parliament for North Dayi Constituency, in the Volta Region, Jocelyn Tetteh has contributed one hundred bags of cement to Vakpo Senior High School.

During a brief ceremony held at the school’s premises on Wednesday, April 17, the Constituency Vice Chairman of the NDC, on behalf of the MP, conveyed the donation.
He remarked that despite the challenging economic circumstances attributed to the current government’s governance, the MP remains a supporter of sports and is committed to youth development.
“She had no option but to respond to the school’s request and offer her support,” he stated.

The benevolent act was prompted by a request from the school authorities to the lawmaker, seeking her assistance in constructing a Multipurpose Sports Court for the school.
The Headmaster of the school, Togbe Foe Tsali II, and the Physical Education Coordinator, Courage Abortta, accepted the bags of cement on behalf of the school and conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to Madam Tetteh for her remarkable contribution towards sports development at Vakpo Senior High School.
Expanding on the components of the Multipurpose Sports Court, the headmaster explained that it would include a Volleyball Court, a Basketball Court, a Netball Court, and a Handball Court.
