João Rendeiro found dead in prison

João Rendeiro has been found dead in prison in South Africa, and the news has spread like wildfire on social media. João Rendeiro died in May 2022, at the age of 69 years but the issues surrounding his death are yet to be disclosed.

João Rendeiro’s death occurred on the same day he was supposed to appear before the court for the preliminary hearing. João Rendeiro has been in prison on a number of occasions for a number of crimes he committed including the collapse of the Banco Privado Português.

João Rendeiro served as the president of a Portuguese bank called Banco Privado Português and he was very established. João Rendeiro’s death was disclosed by a media outlet in Portugal and after interrogation, it was confirmed by a lawyer of the deceased.

Pressure is being mounted on the Attorney General’s Office in South Africa to commence investigations into the death of João Rendeiro.
