Former professional mixed martial artist Joanna Jędrzejczyk is also a Muay Thai kickboxer. Daniel Cormier, who gave credit to her for “putting the weight class on the map,” has referred to her as the greatest female strawweight mixed martial artist of all time.

Jędrzejczyk began training in fitness at the age of 16, and when she was 16 she discovered Muay Thai. She later participated in national and European tournaments.
On May 19, 2012, at SFT – MMA Fight Night Diva SPA versus Sylwia Juskiewicz, Jędrzejczyk made her professional MMA debut. She triumphed by unanimous decision.
Phil Daru and Jose Rojas are her trainers for strength and conditioning. After practicing in a gi, Jędrzejczyk received a promotion to blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2021.
