In a pivotal move, Sirius XM Radio announced on December 2, 2011, that Ladd would spearhead a live, daily free-form music show on Deep Tracks, channel 27, kicking off in January 2012.

This announcement echoed Ladd’s dedication to preserving the essence of freeform radio, ensuring he could keep influencing the musical preferences of his audience.
