Jim had also authored three books – “The Devil Wears Pinstripes”; “Caple, Jim; Buckley, Steve”; and ‘The Navigator”, all published in 2005, 2006 and 2019 respectively.
The book “The Devil Wears Pinstripes” delves into the passionate fans of baseball’s twenty-six-time World Champions while presenting a unique perspective on the New York Yankees, who have experienced defeat in thirteen World Series.
His other book “Caple, Jim; Buckley, Steve”, features Best Boston Sports Arguments with fellow sportswriter Steve Buckley who co-wrote the book with him.
His last book, The Navigator, is a novel that follows the story of his father’s contribution as a B-24 navigator during World War II.
