American meteorologist James D. Cantore was born on February 16, 1964. He is most well-known for his work as The Weather Channel’s on-air host.

Cantore, a White River Junction, Vermont native and Lyndon State College graduate, is a native of Beacon Falls, Connecticut. He received his first job out of college from The Weather Channel in July of that year, and he has remained employed there ever since. One of the most well-known television meteorologists is Cantore.
