Jhonattan Vegas (born August 19, 1984) is a Venezuelan PGA Tour golfer and two-time Olympian.

Jhonattan Vegas Bio
Vegas was born in Venezuela’s Maturn. He studied kinesiology at the University of Texas, where he played golf in college. Vegas became professional in 2008, joined the Nationwide Tour in 2009, and advanced to the PGA Tour in 2011.
On January 23, 2011, Vegas won his first PGA Tour event, the Bob Hope Classic, defeating Gary Woodland and Bill Haas in a sudden-death playoff. It was Vegas’ second outing on the PGA Tour and his sixth overall.
Vegas received a two-year PGA Tour exemption and a Masters invitation, becoming Venezuela’s first PGA Tour triumph. He shared the lead on the back nine at the Farmers Insurance Open, where he finished in a tie for third during his subsequent appearance, and ascended to an OWGR career high of 69th. Vegas became the first rookie on the PGA Tour to lead the FedEx Cup rankings.

After winning the 2011 Telus World Skins Game in Banff, Alberta, Vegas finished second behind Paul Casey in the 2012 Telus World Skins Game in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
