Jessie Duarte Cause Of Death

Jessie Duarte was a South African politician and acting secretary of the African National Congress. She died on the morning of July 17.

A statement by her party confirmed that Jessie died around 4: 31 am. According to reports, Jessie has been going undergoing cancer treatment which might be the cause of her death.

The statement issued by the party reads;

“The passing of Comrade Jessie is a great loss, not only to the family but to the democratic movement and the country as a whole. As a committed internationalist and former diplomat, not only will she be mourned by South Africa, but by colleagues and comrades on the African continent and in the international progressive movement”.

Jessie will be laid to rest in respect to her religious rites on Sunday afternoon in Johannesburg, Gauteng as she is a Muslim.
