Jessie Duarte Cancer: What type of cancer did Jessie Duarte have?

Jessie Duarte was undergoing cancer treatment before she passed away on the dawn of July 17. The actual cancer she was battling is unknown.

In 2022, the African National Congress gave Jessie sick leave and she was away from her political duties for the past 6 months.

On April 24, she revealed that she had been battling cancer, after the media falsely claimed that she had died, due to her absence from public part events.

A statement by her party confirmed that Jessie died around 4:31 am. Jessie will be laid to rest in respect to her religious rites on Sunday afternoon in Johannesburg, Gauteng as she is a Muslim.
