Jessica Mendoza is a former professional softball outfielder for the Stanford Cardinals of Stanford University, as well as the United States women’s national softball team.

Mendoza was born on November 11, 1980, in California, United States.

During her time with the Cardinals, she was a four-time First Team All-American.

At the international level, Mendoza won several Olympic medals, while representing the United States. Till date, Mendoza still ranks amongst top 10 in terms of career batting average and slugging percentage.

After a successful playing career, Mendoza began working as a sports analyst on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, and Baseball Tonight.

In 2022, she joined the Spectrum SportsNet LA network as a commentator for Los Angeles Dodgers games.

Mendoza currently doubles as an analyst for the Women’s College World Series, and the first female broadcaster to do so. She is also the first female World Series analyst on any national broadcast platform.
