Her daughter Shura Baryshnikov is a 42-year-old dancer, choreographer, dance educator, and actress.

She appeared in a Bridge Repertory Theater production of Oscar Wilde’s Salome and in Trinity Rep’s production of musical Oklahoma! In Gamm Theatre’s 2018 production of As You Like It, she played Orlando.

Her work has been shown at the RISD Museum, the Providence Fringe Festival, the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society, and the Earthdance Moving Arts Lab.

Meet Samuel Walker Shepard

Samuel Walker Shepherd is the only son of Jessica Lange. He was born on June 14, 1987, in Scottsville, Virginia. He joined the New York-based band The Down Hill Strugglers, formerly The Dust Busters IN 2008.

The singer has performed in iconic venues such as the Jalopy Theatre and the Club Passim as part of the old-time string band. He has also appeared on numerous radio shows and performed at iconic festivals such as the Woodstock Film Festival and the Brooklyn Folk Festival.
