Jesse Williams Ex-Wife: Who is Aryn Drake-Lee?

Aryn Drake Lee is a real estate broker and the ex-wife of Jesse Williams, an American actor, activist, and producer. They were together for 13 years.

According to People, Jesse and Aryn met when she was a school teacher in New York City. The couple dated for five years before marrying on September 1, 2012.

The couple has two children: a girl, Sadie Williams born in December 2013, and a son, Maceo Williams born in October 2015.  Jesse Williams filed for divorce 18 months after the couple’s child, Maceo, was born.

It was stated at the time that he and Drake-Lee had made an amicable choice to separate up, although the cause for their split was not disclosed. Three years later, in October 2020, the divorce was finalised.

Only a few months after their divorce, the couple began bickering over custody of their two children, with Williams claiming Drake-Lee was limiting his access to them.

In response, his ex-wife sought sole physical and legal custody, citing Williams’ irregular work schedule and saying she was the primary parenting figure.

In addition to arguing over custody, the couple clashed about money. According to Radar Online, he was originally set to pay $40,000 per month in child support, but this amount has been reduced to $6,000 per month.
