William Jayse Pruitt, the son of Jeremy Pruitt, was born December 7, 1995, in Fort Payne, to Jeremy Pruitt and Haley Martin.

Jayse plays football as a quarterback.
As a high school student, Jayse played for head coach Dale Pruitt at Plainview High School in Rainsville.
He emerged MVP of 3A Region 7, had led PHS to the 3A Region 7 title with a perfect 7-0 mark in region play.

He had been head coach at the University of Tennessee for two years, as well as a defensive coordinator at the University of Alabama, the University of Georgia, and Florida State University.
Pruitt has also been Crimson Tide’s defensive backs coach and was an assistant coach at the high-school level.
