The Munster Rugby player and Ireland international Jeremy Loughman was born on July 22, 1995. Loughman gained his first senior international call-up when head coach Andy Farrell included him in the Ireland squad before their Six Nations round 4 match against England in March 2022. He was also included for the team for the Ireland rugby union tour of New Zealand in 2022.

On June 29, Loughman began in his first game for Ireland against the Mori All Blacks, but he was taken off the field after just one minute to be evaluated for a head injury. Although Loughman showed signs of a concussion, he passed the independent doctor’s examination and was able to return to the game. However, at halftime, as a precaution, he was taken off the field permanently.
