There is a rumor going around which indicates that Jelena is deaf. However, those rumors are far from the truth.

Jelena is often seen in the players box, cheering Novak on.

Rumors of Jelena’s deafness surfaced at the 2021 US Open when Jelena was supporting her husband who was wearing t-shirt with the caption “I run with the wolf.”

During a courtside interview after the match, Djokovic was asked about the t-shirt, and he answered that the philosophy behind the inscription was showing gratitude to his wife for her endless support.

However, Jelena did not hear what her hubby said and later tweeted the video thanking the hearing impaired screen for helping her out.

Evidence points to the fact that she is not really hearing impaired.

It’s apt to say that after the phenomenal win by Djokovic, the crowd were making a lot of noise for anyone to hear the courtside interview.

Djokovic met his wife Jelena Ristić, in high school, and began dating her in 2005.

The two became engaged in September 2013, and on 10 July 2014 the couple were married on Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, while a church wedding was held in the same place, on 12 July 2014, in the Church of Saint Stephen.

The pair have two children; a daughter Tara Đoković and a son Stefan Đoković.
