Jeffrey R. Holland children: Meet Matthew S. Holland, Mary Alice H. McCann and David F. Holland

Jeffrey Holland and his late wife, Patricia, have three adult children – Matthew S. Holland, Mary Alice H. McCann, and David F. Holland.

Matthew Scott Holland

Matthew S. Holland is the oldest son of Jeffrey Holland. Matthew was born in 1966, and served as president of Utah Valley University from 2009 to 2018.

He is also a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and has previously served as mission president in the church.

Holland has previously worked as special assistant to former Utah Governor Mike Leavitt, and chief of staff for Monitor Group, a top consulting firm in the U.S.

Mary Alice McCann

Mary is the only daughter of Jeffrey Holland. She happens to be the second child, born in 1969.

Mary is an author, known for the book “In Mary’s Arms: A Christmas Message for Mothers.”

David Frank Holland

David was born in 1973. He is the youngest son of Jeffrey Holland.

David works as a professor and Historian at Harvard Divinity School. He also serves as director of graduate studies in religion at Harvard University.

David is also a former associate professor of history at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
