In March 2022, leaked footage from a documentary by fellow YouTuber Casey Neistat and an episode of Dobrik’s “Views” podcast revealed that David Dobrik was blaming Jeff Wittek for the disaster.

Jeff Wittek has filed a $10 million lawsuit against YouTube millionaire Dave Dobrik. According to the lawsuit, Wittek accused Dobrik of ‘general carelessness and willful negligence,’ stating that Dobrik’s conduct caused him to rack up hospital bills from several operations and forced him to miss work.
