Jeanette Boahemaa Kwakye MBEMBE is a retired British sprinter and sports broadcaster.
Kwakye’s parents were both born in Ghana’s Brong-Ahafo Region.

Kwakye graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Politics and Economics.
Kwakye studied for an NCTJ qualification after retiring and began working for BBC Radio Berkshire before joining BBC Radio London’s sports team in 2014.
Kwakye is a regular host of BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast, as well as a 5 Live Sports contributor.
Kwakye has hosted several sporting events for BBC Sport, including the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, the World Swimming Championships 2019, and the World Athletics Championships 2019.

Jeanette Kwakye Medals
Kwakye won a bronze medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the 2002 World Junior Championships, with teammates Jade Lucas-Read, Amy Spencer and Vernicha James.
Kwakye won the 2007 British 100m title in 11.59 seconds, defeating Laura Turner defending champion Joice Maduaka.
