The news of Junior Pope’s sudden passing due to drowning in a river in Anam, Anambra state, has deeply saddened many.

During a live Instagram session, Stanley Ontop, a crew member of the late actor, shared that despite being taken to a hospital, Junior Pope did not receive adequate emergency care due to a lack of oxygen supply, leading to his unfortunate demise.

Jason Njoku’s response reflects the frustration with Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure. He emphasized the precarious situation faced by individuals in Nigeria during medical emergencies, stating, ‘Just know, when you are living in Nigeria, anything emergency medical-related that happens, you are essentially in the hands of God.’
