American actor and mixed martial artist Jason David Frank, died of suicide in November 2022, following a recent divorce from his wife of 19 years.

He was aged 49.
Frank’s wife, Tammie Frank, had earlier filed for a divorce, over alleged infidelity on the part of the actor.
It is believed that the actor committed suicide because of the emotional trauma.
“Can’t believe it …. RIP Jason David Frank. My heart is sad to have lost another member of our special family”, his former Power Rangers costar Walter Jones had said in a tribute.

Frank has been described as a very humourous individual who was an inspiration to many,.
Frank is remembered for portraying Tommy Oliver in several episodes of the ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ show, and was later cast as the White Ranger.
As an amateur martial artist, he competed in the MMA lightweight division, recording a total number of 4 wins (2 knockouts and 2 submissions) and zero losses.
Frank is survived by his four children – Hunter, Jacob, Skye and Jenna.
