The Michigan-born boxer began his amateur boxing career in 2013, and went on to win the USA Boxing Youth National Championship.
Jarico now competes in the Bantamweight division in the United States.

In 2019, Jarico was matched against James Smith for the vacant WBO International super flyweight title, and he won the fight by unanimous decision, with a 96-93 scorecard.
Jarico turned pro in 2015, in a bout against Hoy Mack, which he won by a first-round retirement. Within a space of four years, he made a record of 12-0-1.
In 2014, he won the USA National Championship at bantamweight, held in Spokane, Washington.
