Janae Jefferson is a softball athlete at the University of Texas.

Janae was born on February 3, 1999, in Houston, Texas to Vincent and Catherine Jefferson.
Janae has one brother, Jalen and a cousin, Michael Jackson, who was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1986-2004 for the Phillies, Mariners, Giants, Reds, Indians (played in the 1997 World Series), Astros, Twins and White Sox, winning 62 games and registering 142 saves during his career.
For her personal life, Janae has not divulged information regarding her relationship status and as a result, it’s not known if she’s dating.

As a freshman at Texas, Janae;
- Became the fourth Texas freshman and 12th overall UT player to earn NFCA All-American honors with a second-team selection and
- Was a top 10 finalist for the Schutt Sports/NFCA National Freshman of the Year award (first Longhorns player to make the cut to 10) .
Janae was named in the First Team NFCA All-Central Region, First Team All-Big 12 Conference and Big 12 All-Freshman.
Janae also led the Longhorns with 23 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI (tied for the lead) efforts.
