Jan Bachowicz is a Polish professional MMA fighter. He currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Light Heavyweight category, where he is the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.

Jan became a professional MMA fighter after joining the KWS, a Polish mixed martial arts organization, at 95 kilograms. During this competition, he defeated three opponents in one night and was proclaimed the winner.
Unfortunately, after considerable training and several matches, he sustained a knee injury and had to retire from the sport. Following his recovery, he rejoined the UFC in January 2014 to compete in the light heavyweight class.

The former UFC champion made his debut against Ilir Latifi, defeating him through comprehensive knockout in the first round.
