Before transferring to Jazz FM, where he hosted the morning show and eventually the afternoon drivetime position, Mr. Crick spent 20 years (1994–present) on Classic FM. In 2001, he served as the creative director for the launch of Gaydar Radio, the first LGBT+ station in the UK. He also hosted a show on Scala Radio, a sister station.

With County Sound, a radio station situated in Guildford, Surrey, Jamie’s radio career got its start. In 1993, he started a 20-year career with Classic FM after a brief stint at BBC Radio.
