Jamie Christopher parents: Meet Malcolm J. Christopher & Penny Christopher

Jamie Christopher, who worked on Marvel movies like Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and others as a first assistant director and associate producer, passed away today from heart issues at his home. He was 52.

An official statement on Christopher’s passing was released by Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito, executives at Marvel Studios. Rian Johnson, James Gunn, David Yates, and Sam Raimi are just a few of the filmmakers that Christopher often collaborated with.
He collaborated with Johnson for the first time on The Last Jedi (2017), and in 2019, Johnson will introduce his Knives Out series.
Additionally, Christopher played a significant role in the Harry Potter film series, working as first assistant director or first assistant director: second unit on all eight of the films that were released between 2001 and 2011.

Malcolm J. and Penny Christopher welcomed Jamie Christopher into the world on November 22, 1971 in Barnet, London.

Since his family had a strong history in the film industry, Jamie’s career was essentially set before he was even a teenager.

His mother, Penny Christopher, was a production coordinator who worked on Event Horizon, and his father, Malcolm J. Christopher, was a production manager who worked on Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon and other films.
