Jamie Cail passed away in her home at Virgin Islands, United States, on February 21, 2023.

She was aged 42.
“She was just… a very beautiful person,” a family friend had said upon hearing of her demise.
“She had a huge heart. She was really loving and kind and well-loved and popular on the island and everybody knows her.”
“Everyone from the, you know, older generational, local families to the younger people, everybody loved her,” her friend added.
Cail is survived by her parents, Pat Cail, and Gary Cail, and cousins Jessica DeVries and Marianna Whitaker.
Jamie Cail Life and Career
Jamie Cail was an American competitive swimmer who won a gold medal at the 1997 Pan-Pacific swimming Championships, in the 4 × 200 m freestyle event.
She represented USA in many swimming competitions.
Cail hailed from New Hampshire, and began training with the Golden West Swim Club while in high school.
She later attended the University of Maine, where she was a member of the women’s swim team.

Cail also won a silver medal at the 1998-99 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Brazil.

What Happened To Jamie Cail?
Jamie Cail was reportedly found dead in a Virgin Islands apartment which she shared with her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend, whose identity has been withheld, was at a bar when the incident occured. He had arrived at midnight to discover Cail’s body on the floor.
“With assistance from a friend, the boyfriend was able to get Cail to a nearby vehicle and transported her to the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic”, The Virgin Islands Police Department stated.
“This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau,” read a statement by the Police.
Cail had been pronounced dead on arrival at the clinic.
