Jamey Rootes was an American sports executive who was the long-term president of the National Football League’s Houston Texans.

Melissa Rootes was the wife of Jamey Rootes. The couple were married for many years. The couple had two children, Chris Rootes and Caroline Rootes. The family lived in Houston.

Chris Rootes and Caroline Rootes are both currently enrolled in school. Caroline recently graduated from Episcopal High School, but Chris’ school’s name is unavailable. They are both thought to be in their adolescence or adulthood.

Jamey Rootes was in charge of the Houston Texans’ business operations. He was president and general manager of the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer before joining the Texans.
