James Purefoy has four children from his two marriages – Joseph Purefoy, Rose Purefoy, Ned Purefoy, Kit Purefoy.

Joseph was born in 1997 to Purefoy and actress Holly Aird.

Purefoy’s second marriage to Jessica Adams produced Rose in 2012, and a set of twins, Ned and Kit in 2017.

Who Is James Purefoy?

James Purefoy is an English actor famous for playing Mark Antony in the HBO/BBC historical drama series “Rome” from 2005 to 2007.

Born on June 3, 1964, in Taunton, Somerset, England, Purefoy has performed on stage in several productions.

He made his film debut with the 1994 film “Feast of July”, and later took up roles in the films “Bedrooms and Hallways” (1998) and “Mansfield Park” (1999).

In 2001, Purefoy began to make a name, following his role as Sir Thomas Marshall in the medieval adventure film “A Knight’s Tale”.

Since then, Purefoy has appeared in various films, including “Vanity Fair” (2004), “Solomon Kane” (2009), “John Carter” (2012), “Ironclad” (2011), “The Following” (2013), “Fisherman’s Friends: One and All” (2022).

On television, Purefoy starred in the HBO/BBC series “Rome” (2005-2007), “The Philanthropist” (2009), “Episodes” (2011-2017), “Revenge” (2011), “Roots” (2016), “Hap and Leonard” (2016-2018), “Altered Carbon” (2018-2020), and “Malpractice” (2023).

Purefoy’s role in TV and film has so far garnered critical acclaim and he is regarded as a respected figure in the movie industry.
